Here are a few tips to help beat the summer heat:
*Try to water your plants at night to avoid excess evaporation
* Never leave anyone in the car, people and pets
* A small crack in your car window will prevent large build-up of heat inside
* Remember to manage your thermostat to avoid high electric bills
* If possible limit the amount of times the doors open and close in your house for cooling purposes
